Vitignanello offers its guests 3 independent luxury apartment rentals in a converted barn on top of the historical hamlet of Pianella. The barn, originally part of a larger estate comprising thousands of hectares of land and buildings is now a private residence overlooking the vineyard to one side and the beautiful panorama of the Chianti Region, its rolling hills dotted by olive groves and lined by vineyards to the other. The careful conversion of the barn, designed by a Sienese architect was carried out maintaining the simple traditional exterior structure of Tuscan barns whilst making the interiors very elegant, with astonishing design elements which are a true delight for the appreciative and the connoisseur. Comfort , ecology and beauty are the underlying motives of the house.

The house is divided in three separate units, which be rented separately or as a whole.

Vitignanello Grande is the larger unit. Designed and built to be the owners’ summer residence, this apartment was carefully decorated and furnished to provide full comfort. The apartment has an independent entrance at the front of the barn, with direct access to the pool and garden, equipped with outdoors eating and cooking facilities. Developing over two floors, this unit hosts 2 large en-suite double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with its own full bathroom. A lovely reading room can be enclosed and accommodate another 2 guests. The first floor is accessed through an elegant design marble staircase which leads directly into the bright and airy open space living area, cleverly designed to accommodate a cosy sitting room with fireplace, kitchen and dining room.

Santa Lucia is the 70 sq metre apartment at the rear end of the barn. It is made up of a lovely private patio with outdoors eating and cooking facilities accessed directly through the bright, welcoming lounge with fireplace. Off the lounge is a fully fitted kitchen and a corridor leading to the two bedrooms, an ensuite double and a twin with private bathroom. The decor is very elegant, only the best materials were used. the house has central heating and air conditioning. The 15X5 mt panoramic swimming pool placed at the front of the barn is easily accessed through a side passage.

San Giovanni is the 70 sq metre apartment at the front end of the barn. It is made up of a welcoming lounge with fireplace off which is a fully fitted kitchen and a corridor leading to the two bedrooms, an ensuite double and a twin with private bathroom. Off the lounge sits a terrace with outdoors eating facilities. The decor is very elegant, only the best materials were used. the house has central heating and air conditioning. The pool is accessed through a side passage.

Tuscany is the most famous and visited region of Italy thanks to its wonderful art cities - Florence, Siena, Pisa, Volterra, S. If you like walking, there are plenty of gorgeous marked routes. To quench your thirst for art and culture, marvellous art cities like Siena and Florence are half an hour's drive away, the Chianti region offers breathtaking views at your doorstep and the opportunity to visit some of the best wineries of Italy, tasting their famous Chianti and Super Tuscan. Cycling. Horse-riding, fishing, water parks for the children are all available within 15 kms.
