Colletalli is a stunning ancient Tuscan 'podere' (farmhouse) in the very heart of Tuscany conveniently located within 1 hour motoring of Florence, Siena, Sangimignano and Volterra. Sleeps up to 10, 4 double bedrooms, a studio with double sofa bed, 2 bathrooms.

The owner has devoted a great deal of attention to detail in the sensitive modernisation of this large structure to enhance the original beauty and with an eye to the enjoyment of future residents. To this end features such as a huge fireplace and large open plan areas have been maintained to give the whole space a feeling of airy brightness conducive to a sensation of tranquility.

The House is accessed through an arched furnished portico hosting an old functioning wood oven. The front door opens into a big sitting room with a splendid Tuscan fireplace and comfortable furniture. An open doorway leads to the well-lit kitchen/dining room where, if you like, you can taste meals prepared by the owner, a famous chef in the area.

Off the dining room on the the ground floor  sits a passage room with a desk and a double sofa bed, a shower room with washing machine and a large double bedroom with an extra single bed. At the other end of the sitting room are two double bedrooms. An open tread, wooden staircase leads up to a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and separate shower stall.

Outside, the hilly countryside provides many places for sunbathing and eatingthanks to the  garden being terraced on the steeper parts of the land. An above ground round swimming pool (6m) has been installed half in the ground, with a stone patio.

Colletalli is an ideal location to recharge ones energy away from the humdrum of daily life. A surprising achievement given that Radicondoli, the local municipality and its ancient unspoiled medieval fortress is only 5 minutes away. Belforte, the nearest medieval fortress, is only 10 minutes on foot! Radicondoli has no less than five restaurants open all year round. Food can be enjoyed in the setting of the truly breathtaking views.
