Our trip to Boscarella was unplanned, but so wonderful that words don't do it justice. When there was an unexpected difficulty at the place we planned to stay at, we contacted Erica, who suggested the Pometti family's accessory dwelling near the restored villa, which turned out to be just what we were hoping to find. She genuinely cared about our trip, and that's what made the difference between an okay stay in Tuscany and an unforgettable one. We met a few families staying at the main estate, and I can see why they come back here year after year. We were lucky enough to enjoy San Lorenzo night, when shooting stars are at their peak, and after a delightful evening dining, enjoying the Pomettis' wines and the conviviality of the other visitors around the pool, we sat in the quiet darkness watching the spectacle in the summer night sky. Duccio and his daughters are indescribable. Earthy, refined, and warm-hearted. Highly recommended!
