LISA'S DIARY
Thanks to Erica and Pure and Authentic, our month-long house party celebrating our 25th anniversary was nearly perfect. Because one of us is in a wheelchair, we had a lot of extra demands, and Erica was absolutely wonderful all the way through, from our initial contact with her until the day we arrived at the house and she and her partner came in to fix the toilet for us! She spent an amazing amount of time with us, both on the telephone and in person, trying to understand what we wanted and needed and helping us to find the best house. She also translated for the landlords the accessibility modifications we wanted made to the house, and everything was exactly as we had requested when we arrived.
We highly recommend Pure and Authentic for vacation rentals, and we are looking forward to exploring some of her other, smaller properties for holidays in the future.
LOVED IT! - PAT'S DIARY in Porcilaia
I want to thank you for all your help as we planned and booked our vacation in Tuscany. We LOVED our stay at Borgo La Chuisa!!! The country house was absolutely beautiful and the new inground pool was a nice surprise and a great addition to our trip! Francesca was great too and please tell her we thought her English was great!
We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and we will book again with you and come back to Borgo La Chuisa ourselves on our next Tuscany vacation.
Thanks again,
Pat
WONDERFUL STAY - ANGELA'S DIARY in Legnaia
Hallo Francesca!
Just to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Borgo La Chiusa and many thanks for all your help whilst we were there. It is a stunningly beautiful area and a wonderful property to stay in. Hope to return!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - AUDREY'S DIARY in Legnaia
Our family recently stayed at this exquisite property just outside of Sienna. The home was perfectly renovated, extremely clean, bright, and pleasant. Beds, furnishings, and linens were all brand new and very comfortable.
The owners were wonderful hosts-even dropping by one night with several delicious pizzas cooked in their on-site pizza oven that must have been 300 years old. Highly recommended.
A MEMORABLE HOLIDAY - LUCAS & MCQUAIDS'S DIARY in Colli Talli
Just wanted to say how much we absolutely loved staying in your beautiful farmhouse last August. There was a party of 2 families with 9 in total and the house was enormous and full of Tuscan character. The pool and gardens were so clean and well looked after! The farmhouse was a fantastic size for us and very well decorated and equipped. The photo's of the house show how beautiful it is but you can only fully appreciate the property and surroundings by staying there. We really can't thank you enough for all your hands on help and tourist advice during our stay. I can promise we will be back again as we all fell in love with Radicondoli and it has been, by far, the most talked about wonderful family holiday we've all enjoyed! All the very best and hope to speak with you soon!
FAB ACCOMODATION - R'S DIARY in Colli Talli
I would highly recommend this property and will definately be going back. We had a fabulous holiday last March at this beauitiful farmhouse set amongst the hills and countryside with breathtaking views. A car is essential as it is a little remote but that's my idea of a holiday, away from it all with time and room to relax and recharge those batteries. It was so peaceful with ample room for our party of five adults and it was great to feel the warmth of the open log fire after returning for the day. Luana the owner lives closeby and she made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
We will definately be returning, hopefully one summer when I believe a new open air swimming pool is planned.
Highly recommended, a first class property 10/10.
BEST HOLIDAY - JENNY'S DIARY in Colli Talli
This house is fantastic. The owners are fantastic. Their dog is fantastic.
A group of 8 of us stayed there for a week in August 2009 and had an amazing time.
The house is everything you would expect from a house in the Tuscan countryside - rustic (in a good way), secluded and oozing with character. The rooms are very comfortable and quite traditional with a mixture of old furniture, though there are some more modern design touches scattered throughout the house. The upstairs bathroom is a work of art in itself!
The pool was the real star of the holiday - perfect after a hard days sight-seeing in nearby Siena or Florence.
The owners were really approachable and helpful - they really helped us out when our hire car broke down, giving us a lift to the nearest big town and treating us to a calming cup of coffee.
There is a great bar and restaurant in nearby Radicondoli.
Highly recommended.
MARCO PIETRANTONI'S DIARY in Fienile
We had a fabulous time - I would thoroughly recommend this cottage. We spent a few days just reading under the old oak tree in the garden (nice and peaceful), and the location is such that we were also able to visit Florence and Siena on day trips, so a nice mix of activities is possible here. Radicondolli itself is a charming medieval hilltop town and the food is well worth sampling at Il Nazionale restaurant. The only (very) slight disappointment was that the footpath to Radicondolli from the cottage is now overgrown so you either have to walk on the road or take the car to get there. Generally though - brilliant.
A REAL HOME TO GO BACK TO IN THE EVENING - MEL'S DIARY in Legnaia
I am not a very good writer, but I will say this. Your property was the last of 3 places we stayed. We stayed in an apartment in Florence that was good in size, had everything we needed, not the cleanest in the world, but just fine for our purposes. Then in Lucca, stayed in a B&B which was also fine, but cold, with bad bedding. We had spent alot of time sightseeing, out on the streets walking, eating and drinking. In general taking in all in and having a good time, but getting tired. We rented a car and left Lucca for Siena. When we arrived @ La Chiusa, it was too good to be true! The warmth and cleanliness and comfort of the house was so welcoming. It had everything we needed. Especially nice, was to go "home" in the evening, cook or just relax with some wine and a fire with our friends. The beds and bedding were great. Bathrooms were excellent! The price value was excellent. It was a great way to end our trip. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to the Siena area. If I ever make it back to Italy I would definately seek out one of your properties. You are never REALLY sure what is portrayed on the internet will be what it really is. La Chiusa definately lived up to the picture and description and more. Francesca was so sweet. I only wish I spoke Italian. Shame on me! Also Erica always responded to my emails in a timely fashion. As you can see, I have so many good things to say about this place.
FRIENDSHIP, HEALTHY LIVING AND WONDERFUL VIEWS - MAXINE'S DIARY in Terrazza
We really enjoyed staying at La Marcigliana in September this year.
We were hosted largely by Pietros parents and only met Pietro towards the end of the
holiday when he retuned from Sardinia. Dionigi and his wife were so generous with their hospitality and genuine friendship. It was an absolute pleasure to meet them and their daughter and grandson and as the 2 weeks went by, also their friends!
We miss them very much and often think about how them and hope they are keeping well.
La Capanna was perfect for us. We liked being at the centre of the farm watching the farm activities and even helping a little sometimes. We loved wandering about the Orto and olive groves accompanied by 2 dogs, 5 cats and often the occasional escaped chicken.
I guess the only downside of La Capanna was the bed which
was a bit too hard for us and gave us back ache! but it was a small price to pay for such a great experience.
We came away with 2Kg of cheese, marmellata and figs and bought beautiful oil (liquid gold), wine and eggs whilst we were there - and ate from the orto....it was just beautiful.
RELAX AND ENJOY - GALWAY'S DIARY in Capanna
I loved my stay in Paugnano. It was the mosted relaxing holiday I have ever been on. Whilst communication can be difficult as I had no Italian and English was scarce on the Farm we got through. It added to the adventure. You will not find people who are more friendly or helpfull as you will here. A car is an essential to a holiday here but that allows you the freedom to explore Tuscany which is amazing. One would never tire of site seeing here. The farm was beautifull the childern loved the freedom you had here. You could relax in the knowledge that they were in a very safe location. Definitely a place to go relax, unwind and enjoy lovely local food and drink
EXCELLENT LOCATION AND EXCELLENT HOSTS - FLORIDA'S DIARY in Legnaia
There were four of us on holiday in Tuscany from Florida. We loved the accomodation and our hosts were excellent. All you need when you stay is your personal stuff. The views of the country side were great we ate dinner and had morning coffee on the outdoor patio every day. We do recomend this location for your Tuscany vacation.
A PERFECT PLACE CLOSE TO SIENNA BUT WITH THE PEACE OF THE COUNTRYSIDE - BELFAST'S DIARY in Porcilaia
This was a perfect place to stay close to Sienna but with the peace of the countryside. The owners were very helpful giving google earth maps to the local supermarket and the house itself was spotless and very well equipped. The surroundings are picture postcard beautiful. The house is well situated to the motorway making it easy to get around. Close to the COOP supermarket was a great restaurant, called the green Frog(?) great food and good value also an ice-cream parlour just across the road. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending La Chiusa. just one question does Tuscany have more stars or is just a bit closer to heaven and therefore easier to see them!
TUSCANY LANDSCAPES - DOROTA'S DIARY in Porcilaia

BORGO LA CHIUSA - JORGE 'S DIARY in Porcilaia
We stayed at this property for 3 nights and could not have picked a better location to travel the Tuscan area.
The attention to detail at the villa was evident. All was perfectly displayed and in beautiful condition.
We appreciate the assistance that Francesca gave us. It was very informative and helped us acquainted with the area.
Again, thnks for a wonderful vacation.
NURSING KITTENS AND MAKING CANTUCCI - JULIE AND TULIP'S DIARY in Vescovo
Tulip and I made cantuccini at the weekend - not quite as successful as those made in the heat of the day!
Hope you are all happy and busy!
Tulip asked me to continue with the Italian words when we got back so we are all still learning!
Best wishes to all
Julie
GREAT EXPERIENCE - FINN'S DIARY in San Giovanni
We had a great holiday in Vitignanello. The House and it's surroundings are in top class. Very beautiful and peaceful landscape. The location of villa is ideal of going everywhere...of course you need a car. The nearby village (Pianella) is very small but you can get groceries and etc from there. Siena is only 12 km away from there.
Also we want to thank our host family. Everything worked more than well and they are very friendly people who helped us in everything we needed and more.
A BEAUTIFUL PLACE - LYNCH'S DIARY in Padronale
Vitignanello is absolutely beautiful. It is exactly as it is pictured and described on the website. It is clean and well-maintained, and has the vibe of a much loved home. It was just too easy to develop an immediate attachment to the place.
Pianella, the closest town, and others in the vicinity, have basic amenities, restaurants, etc., and it is just a 10 minute drive to Siena. The motorway is easily accessible, making it suitable for day trips (Florence, San Gimignano, wine tours, etc); and the property itself is smack in a vineyard, surrounded by scenic drives and views in every direction. The villa itself feels homely. It is bright and airy, well-furnished (with a fully equipped kitchen) and tastefully decorated.
The owners are delightful! They were friendly, and took time and effort to help us with suggestions and directions. All in, the villa was perfect for us, and I would highly recommend it.
A GIRLS' GETAWAY - JL'S DIARY in Pietraio
I booked Il Pietraio for a group of 10 friends and we all loved it!
We had great fun trying out the outdoor pizza oven and the massive bbq.
There is plenty of space, and plenty of bathrooms, so we didn't get in each others' ways but there are lots of places to be sociable in too.
The owners were very helpful too.
We'd go back!
A WEEK TO REMEMBER - BEN AND RACHEL'S DIARY in Pietraio
Well, what can we say...............absolutely fabulous.
Cannot thank you all enough for making our wedding truly remarkable. Erica for co-ordinating our stay, Antonella and Roldano for being the perfect hosts and Luana, well what can we say about the food............amazing.
The Villa is beautiful, so much care and attention to detail - a labour of love for Antonella and Roldano.
Thankyou all again for making our day so special
With love from Ben and Rachel

The appartment is very nice, clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is well equipped so that you can easily cook for a family (4 persons). The owner is very friendly and gave good advice regarding shops, restaurants and attractions.

Hi Erica
