"I am from the island of Elba, in the heart of the Tuscan Archipelago, and since childhood I’ve been in love with these islands, the sea and nature in general. Studies in the Earth Sciences have made me even more excited about the outdoors and all the lesser known areas of Tuscany, in addition to allowing an intimate contact with nature.

And so I became an environmental trekking guide to communicate my enthusiasm and passion for this land.

I have been guiding trekking groups since 1999 and I deal with planning and promoting hiking trips, cruises-trekking, fishing, summer camps for kids. I am also engaged in teaching environmental education in schools."

You’ll walk from the lush vegetation of the park to the medieval tower of Castel Marino, perched on the edge of the ancient cliff. Below lies the Grand Ducal pine forest that covers the vast plain between the sea and the mouth dell'Ombrone. In the background you can admire the beautiful white sands of the beach.

Equipment needed: small backpack with supplies of water and picnic lunch in some cases are useful reef sandals, wearing comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
