The estate dates back to the fifteenth century and is a typical brick and stone building which has been restored and divided into 12 apartments. The apartments vary in size, are all furnished with antique furniture and overflowing with genuine “Tuscan atmosphere”.
The farm has extensive grounds where guests can enjoy the swimming pool, table tennis, a pen with farm animals, the garden with barbecue, a heated whirlpool and a tennis court only 5 km away.
Each week guests can choose from a variety of activities including dinners, walks through the estate to explore the countryside and learn about the wine and oil producing process, tastings and guided tours of the winery.
Cooking courses are also organised where participants can learn how to prepare simple but tasty dishes from the local area.
Recipes are explained step by step (with a translation in English upon request) so guests can get “hands on” experience of preparing a complete meal from the hors-d’oeuvre to the dessert.
At the end of the evening, guests are treated to a delicious dinner where they can taste all the dishes they have made.
